Tomboy is a notepad, normally used on Linux distributions, that now has a version for Windows. It offers the possibility to write in a simple window with the possibility to link one note with another, highlight sentences, change the typography and the size of the letters, and have all the notes organized.   By means of keyboard shortcut you will be able to create a new note and open the Tomboy menu. That is how simple it is to write notes. You can configure the keyboard shortcut that you like most. In the Tomboy window you have various options: you can search for notes that you have written, write your texts, export them to HTML or print them. Tomboy also allows to create notebooks with which to organize the notes, in other words, you will be able to save the notes in different notebooks.

  Tomboy also allows to choose the size of the letters, if you want to cross out a word or highlight it, and even link specific words with other notes.
